Pianist Thomas Clausen made his mark in the late 1960s as one of the country’s finest musicians and composers. Initially, he was known for his distinct jazz musical expression as a leader of his groups and as a sought-after sideman. In the 1970s, he experimented with fusion jazz but quickly returned to the grand piano. Clausen has successfully integrated classical music and, perhaps most notably, the Brazilian feel into his playing in recent years.

Huset har tre koncertsale og muligheder for at etablere cafe og reception, mm. I salene præsenteres koncerter for børn og voksne i et bredt spekter fra børneopera til internationale navne inden for den klassiske kammermusik. Genrebredden vil være stor – fra Bach til Hans Abrahamsen, fra gammelt til nyt, fra klassisk til spillemandsmusik, fra vokalmusik til etnisk musik, fra jazz til avantgarde – bare musikken i sit udspring er akustisk baseret, for det er det salene er gode til.
